Sibiu, 20 June. Tomorrow begins the 32nd edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival. There are scheduled over 841 events, across ten days full of theatre, dance, music, circus, exhibitions, and many more. There are expected over 5000 artists from 82 countries.
Like every year, FITS presents during the festival, which this year takes place between 20 and 29 June, FITS Recommends, an informative section with the most exciting performances of the day, so that the attendees in Sibiu can make the best decisions. Thus, on 20 June, on the first day of the Festival, the audience can enjoy a concert by violinist Alexandru Tomescu and guitarist Dragoș Ilie, a performance directed by Tiago Rodrigues, chairman of the Avignon Festival, the customary drone show, and the free concert of the Hungarian Royal Gypsy Orchestra in the Large Square of Sibiu.The first day of the Festival features artists from 20 countries, which will present tens of exciting performances, 12 free outdoor performances, and 3 online performances. On the first day, the lowest-priced ticket is 30 RON.

Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), is one of the greatest and most important theatre festivals in the world, taking place in Sibiu, this year during 20 – 29 June. The theme of the 32nd edition is THANK YOU. FITS 2025 has 842 program events and is waiting for over 5000 artists from 82 countries.
This year's theme – THANK YOU – represents the connection between generosity, joy, the power of giving, emotion, and the relationship between artists and the audience, mediated by all those who contribute to supporting this miraculous process.
